Interested in exploring Super-8mm Film? It’s a great medium for filmmakers and artists alike. Consider taking this 8-day workshop where you get a chance to wok with up and coming actors based in the city, use professional Super-8mm equipment, and shoot your own film within a week. The Workshop is brought to you by Image Quilt Productions (imagequilt.com) and will be taught by Omonike Akinyemi, an award-winning filmmaker (Cannes Forum, 2000, NYFA Fellow, 2009). Film Workshop includes processing and cost of film for up to 4 rolls of Super-8, access to Super-8mm camera for 1 week, access to a cast of actors, and feedback from your peers. Completed Films from the workshop will screen as part of The Director’s Sennight ( The Director’s Week) Film Festival at the Uptown Theater in Utica, New York on November 12, 2011. October 8-15 at the 133rd Street Arts Center.
