Our first television drama won the Best Drama award at the 2004 Women of Color Film Festival in New York. "Nelly's Bodega" tells the story of an adolescent African-American girl who discovers that her friend, Nelly, a Latin woman is involved in a marriage marred by domestic violence. First aired on Channel Thirteen as part of the "Reel New York" Television Series.
