"How to Stay Sane in Paris" is also a feature film in development about a poet who finds love and jazz in underground Paris. We have decided to bring the sory to audiences in New York this summer on the stage. Why? The pieces of the film are also exciting to watch in a live media. Image Quilt's production crews are also available for the production of corporate videos, the recording of live events, and development of film screening series. Our team consists of skilled writers, directors, cinematographers, poets, actors, choreographers and music composers.
Development:
We also offer periodic script development workshops that allow writers, actors, and directors from all over the world to learn screenwriting and directing techniques as well as connect in a collaborative atmosphere in New York City and Albany, New York. Participants in the Albany Director's Lab with projects to be workshoped are encouraged to register before May 28, 2005.

Image Quilt is associated with the non-profit arts organization, 16 Cowries. 16 Cowries trains and people to learn skills related to filmmaking and the arts. Focused on creating skilled story tellers for the cinema of the African continent and its diaspora, 16 Cowries often focuses on training young people in areas underserved with training in the cinematic arts. Inspired by the Yoruba African system of divination using 16 cowry shells to tell the future, 16 cowries views the arts as part of a holistic way of being.
16 Cowries (http://16cowries.infopace.net) aims to bring the cinematic arts to youth in an affordable professional setting twhere they can learn from skilled professionals. 16 Cowries is currently raising funds to bring on an apprentice to work FullTime with Image Quilt Productions. Breakfast in the Adirondacks: The Play
When Grandma Gloria hears about the Nubian Ski Club, she knows that it has got to be the place for her to bring her college-educated grand-daughter Ebony to meet an eligible bachelor. Stacey, a bourgeois New York lawyer also plans to meet potential lover and get a break from her husband during a weekend skiing in the Adirondacks. The evening is full of secrets that are revealed and wounds that are healed as all three women confront their fears in the mountains.
Our first evening's event is a benefit for the "16 Cowries" non-profit organization to support the training of under-represented and youth of African descent in film production and stage management.
