The performance of flamenco by dancers of African Diaspora has a long history in New York City.  Watch in the clip below the performance of "Alegrias" by the highly acclaimed choreographer of Puerto Rican heritage, Liliana Morales.  "Rage and Honey:  A Night of Black Flamenco" will include a dancer who performs in this 1989 video.  If you can name who it is, email production@imagequilt.com for a free certificate to a dance class.
